Saracens have announced that tighthead prop Christian Judge will be leaving the Gallagher Premiership club at the end of the ongoing season.

Judge initially played for Saracens on loan in the 2018/19 season and joined them on a full time basis in 2022. He has made 55 appearances for the club and helped them win the Premiership titles on two occassions.

“To have been given the opportunity to represent Saracens again is one I’m incredibly grateful for," he told the club's official webiste.

"I’d like to take this moment to thank all of the coaches, staff, my fellow team mates, and everyone involved with the club for making my experience an enjoyable one. I’d also like to thank all of the fans for their unwavering support.

"As a club, we have a big few months ahead and hopefully we can end on a high. For me personally, I’m excited for a new challenge in France and all it has in store!"

The 31-year-old had represented Launceston, Plymouth Albion, Bedford Blues, Cornish Pirates, Bath and Worcester Warriors in the past and now will move to Pro D2 side Beziers.

“Judgey is admired and respected by everyone at the club and is a player who has shown great resilience throughout his career. We appreciate that this is an exciting opportunity for him and we wish him all the best in France," said director of rugby Mark McCall.

Saracens are positioned fourth in the Gallagher Premiership table with seven wins from 12 matches.
