Saracens have announced that Argentina international Lucio Cinti has signed a long-term contract with the Gallagher Premiership club.

Cinti started his professional rugby debut with Argentine club La Plata in 2019 and moved to London Irish in 2021.

He joined Saracens in 2023 after London Irish entered into administration and has 10 appearances to his name in the ongoing 2023/24 season. He also has played 14 times for Argentina since making his international debut in 2021.

“Saracens is a fantastic club who have been so welcoming since arriving last year. I have really enjoyed my time so far and cannot wait to see what we can achieve over the coming years," he told the club's official website.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall is excited about Cinti remaining committed to the club.

“We are thrilled that Lucio has committed his future to the club," said McCall.

"Alongside players developed in our Academy, we have a long tradition of welcoming players from around the rugby world who contribute to our culture and make Saracens an inclusive and diverse club.

Lucio has already added a great deal in a short period of time and we look forward to watching him grow and develop on and off the field in the coming years.”
