Gloucester lock Cam Jordan is set to join Newcastle Red Bulls at the end of the current season after agreeing a two-year deal with the Gallagher PREM club.

The 26-year-old second row will make the switch in the summer, bringing top-flight experience to Newcastle’s forward pack.

Standing at 6ft 6in, Jordan has made more than 70 senior appearances for Gloucester since joining the Cherry and Whites midway through the 2020 season.

Jordan came through the Leicester Tigers academy system before moving to Kingsholm, where he established himself as a reliable squad member across league and cup competitions.

A former England Under-18 international and Oakham School graduate, he has been recognised for his physical presence, line-out work and consistency at PREM level.

Speaking on the move, Jordan said he was excited by Newcastle’s long-term ambitions and the direction of the club. He pointed to the opportunity to be part of a growing project as a key factor behind his decision to head to Kingston Park.

“Red Bull are an organisation with a proven track record for success in any sport they are involved with," he told the club's official website.

“The ambition for the future of Newcastle Red Bulls is very exciting, and something I’m looking forward to being a part of.”
