Bristol Bears have announced contract extensions for ten of their players, reinforcing the squad’s foundation as the club looks to build on its performance in the Gallagher Premiership and beyond.
The list of players who have re-signed includes a blend of experienced talent and rising stars, ensuring continuity and strength across the squad.
Among the notable players are Ellis Genge, the England international prop who has been instrumental in leading the team as captain, and Harry Randall, the dynamic scrum-half who has consistently impressed with his pace and creativity.
Other players extending their stay include Ioan Lloyd, whose versatility has made him a fan favorite, and Chris Vui, the Samoa international and a crucial figure in the Bears’ forward pack.
Head Coach Pat Lam expressed his enthusiasm about the extensions, emphasizing their significance for the club's future.
“We’re building a squad that can play the Bears Way, with a mixture of guys that have been on the journey for a number of years and the addition of some quality international players.
"But the most exciting part is that we are bringing through a group of homegrown young players who have taken their opportunity through hard work and desire to do well for their community.
“It’s an exciting time to be part of this club, and following the announcements of Tom Jordan and Pedro Rubiolo already, it’s fantastic to see a core group of players – who have been in excellent form – commit their futures early. They want to be part of what we are doing".
Bristol are positioned second in the Gallagher Premiership with six wins from eight matches.
