Crusaders have announced that All Blacks centre Braydon Ennor will miss the first half of the upcoming 2024 Super Rugby Pacific season.

Ennor sustained a knee injury during New Zealand's Bledisloe Cup game against Australia in Dunedin in August.

The club confirmed that Ennor underwent ACL reconstruction on the same month but has subsequently developed an infection which affected the early stages of his rehab.

In a statement, Crusaders revealed that the 26-year-old's infection was treated successfully but it is likely to keep him out of action for the first half of the new season.

Crusaders will kick-start the 2024 season of Super Rugby Pacific season with a clash against Chiefs at FMG Stadium Waikato on 23rd February.
