Wallaby playmaker Ben Donaldson has been named on the bench for the Western Force in their Super Rugby AUS clash against the ACT Brumbies.
Donaldson has not featured since the third Test against the British & Irish Lions on 2 August after suffering an adductor strain. Following recovery training in Sydney, he has flown to Perth to rejoin the Force squad.
He replaces newcomer Henry Palmer in the 23-man matchday squad. While he won’t start, his inclusion provides a timely boost for the Force, who will look to strengthen their depth against a strong Brumbies side.
The game will be played on Saturday at Tompkins Park, home of Palmyra RUFC, with kick-off scheduled for 2pm WST.
