Premiership Rugby has confirmed that the league encounter between Harlequins and Bath Rugby has been shifted from Friday to Sunday due to freezing conditions at Twickenham Stoop.

A spokesman from Premiership Rugby revealed that travel issues and poor forecast led to the decision of postponing the game and the timing of the rescheduled game on Sunday will be announced in due course of time.

"We will always prioritise the safety of our supporters and club staff," said a spokesperson for Premiership Rugby.

Bath and Harlequins are positioned at fifth and ninth places in the Aviva Premiership table.
