Glasgow Warriors have confirmed that assistant coach Jason O’Halloran will make an exit from the Pro14 club at the end of the ongoing season.

The former Hurricanes and New Zealand centre started his coaching career with Kubota Spears in 2005 and joined Manawatu in 2011. In May 2015, it was announced that O’Halloran will join Vern Cotter's Scotland backroom staff as backline coach - a role he held till 2017 before moving to Glasgow Warriors ahead of 2017/18 season.

During his time with the Scotstoun outfit, Glasgow went on to feature in the knock-out of the European Champions Cup for the first time and also claimed a place in the final of the 2018/19 season where they lost to Leinster.

“I have loved my time here. I cannot speak highly enough of this club and the great people involved in it," he told glasgowwarriors.org.

“With my family living back in New Zealand and the pull of being close to them I’ve decided to move on next summer.

“All of my focus until my departure is on ensuring that the club is challenging for silverware at the end of the season.”

Glasgow Warriors are positioned fourth in Conference A table of Pro14 with three wins from seven games while they are second in Pool 2 of the Heineken Champions Cup behind Exeter Chiefs.
