France scrum-half Antonie Dupont will be available for Toulouse's Heineken Champions Cup game against Munster after a successful appeal against his four-week suspension.

Dupont was red-carded during the encounter against South Africa for a dangerous tackle on Cheslin Kolbe and was handed a four-week suspension.

The 26-year-old was charged with a breach of World Rugby Law 9.17 that deals with “a player must not tackle, charge, pull, push or grasp an opponent whose feet are off the ground”.

On appealing, the panel deemed that a breach of Law 9.17 “does not mandate a minimum entry point of mid-range (eight weeks)” and “concluded that his conduct merited a lower end entry point, and with an appropriate reduction for mitigation, imposed a sanction of two weeks.”

As a result his suspension was now reduced to two weeks which means Dupont is ready to play immediately for his club Toulouse.
