Antonie Dupont is expected to return to action this weekend as Stade Toulousain face Racing 92 at home in the TOP 14.

According to reports, head coach Ugo Mola is preparing to name the France scrum-half on the bench, marking his first appearance since suffering an anterior cruciate ligament injury eight months ago.

Dupont has been sidelined since March, when he tore his ACL during France’s Six Nations campaign. Widely regarded as one of the best players of his generation, his recovery has been closely followed by fans and the club, with this weekend’s clash seen as the ideal moment for his reintegration into competitive rugby.

His return comes just ahead of Toulouse’s new Investec Champions Cup campaign, which begins next Sunday against the Hollywoodbets Sharks. The six-time European champions are bidding for a seventh title and view Dupont’s comeback as a major lift.

The French scrum-half recently signed a contract extension that keeps him at Toulouse until 2031.

Dupont has already won two Champions Cup titles with the club, and his return adds further strength as they enter the 2025/26 season.
