Bordeaux Bègles have confirmed that winger Salesi Rayasi has signed a contract extension that will keep him at the club until 2028.
The Fijian international joined Bordeaux at the start of the current season from RC Vannes and made his competitive debut in the opening round of the Top 14 against Stade Rochelais at Stade Chaban-Delmas.
His introduction to French rugby was briefly delayed after he suffered a concussion in that match, which ruled him out for several weeks.
Rayasi returned to action before linking up with Fiji for the November international window, featuring in the Nations Series fixtures against England and France.
He later faced France again in Bordeaux, gaining further exposure at international level during the autumn.
Since settling into domestic competition, Rayasi has made 11 appearances for Bordeaux and has scored six tries, including a two-try performance against Montpellier.
