Scotland international Adam Ashe has signed a new contract with Glasgow Warriors which will keep him committed with the Pro 12 club for another two years.

The 23-year-old flanker has played six Tests for Scotland between 2014 and 2015 and has also featured for Scotland Under-20 and Sevens teams between 2010 and 2013.

Ashe is recovering from a hip injury and currently is on a run-out with Ayr.

This is the fourth contract extension in recent weeks for Glasgow Warriors, who extended the services of Stuart Hogg, Henry Pyrgos and Greg Peterson.

"It's a brilliant feeling to extend my contract and stay on with the club," said Ashe.

"Glasgow Warriors is a fantastic environment and I'm surrounded by great players, great coaches and great fans so it was an easy decision for me to make.

"As a club it is really taking off, we've just had two good wins in Europe and it's exciting to be a part of something that is moving in the right direction."
