Dragons have been dealt a double blow ahead of the 2018/19 season with forwards Aaron Jarvis and Harrison Keddie set to miss the initial phase with injuries.

Both the players suffered bicep injuries during training and are set to be sidelined at least until October.

Wales international Jarvis joined Dragons in April after being part of Bath, Ospreys and Clermont Auvergne in the past. He has also made 18 appearances at the international level between 2012 and 2016.

Meanwhile, former Wales U20 international Keddie has been with Dragons since 2014 but missed the most of the previous season due to a shoulder injury.

Dragons will kick-start the 2018/19 season of Pro14 with a clash against Benetton Rugby at Rodney Parade on 2nd September.
