Wales head coach Warren Gatland has named an unchanged line-up for the second round of World Cup game against Australia to be in Tokyo on Sunday.

Both Wales and Australia will be head into the weekend's encounter with wins over Georgia and Fiji respectively and a win in the upcoming clash will take them a step closer to a top-eight finish.

The spotlight will, however, be on skipper Alun Wyn Jones, who will be featuring in his 130th Test for Wales and will surpass Gethin Jenkins' record of 129 games. The 34-year-old has also played nine times for the British and Irish Lions.

Gatland has made one change to the bench with Owen Watkin replacing Leigh Halfpenny - a move which is seen to provide cover to Hadleigh Parkes, who suffered a hand injury during the game against Georgia.

"We felt we wanted to give that team another opportunity," said Gatland.

"We thought we played pretty well in the first-half against Georgia so we felt it was not fair to drop anyone.

"Owen has been coming off the bench for us and doing a good job.

"Hadleigh has a small fracture in his hand so has not taken much of a part in training this week.

"It is just making sure we have cover there in case that hand does give him problems during the match so then we can make a change."

Gatland also lavished praise on skipper Alun Wyn Jones as he is set to become the most-capped player for Wales.

"He's a great competitor," said Gatland.

"Since he's been captain we don't have as many fights at training because he used to start most of them!

"That's how competitive he was. People who get to the top have a drive and a desire to want to be successful and he's definitely done that.

"To become Wales' record Test player with 130 caps is special. Hopefully there are many more to come."
