Wales head coach Warren Gatland has made four changes to the starting line up for the second and final Test against Australia to be played in Melbourne on Saturday.

Josh Hathaway misses out on selection due to an elbow injury forcing Liam Williams to move to right wing and Cameron Winnett is slotted at fullback.

Owen Watkin and Mason Grady retain their midfield partnership while Ben Thomas retains his kicking responsibility with Ellis Bevan at scrum half.

While the front row remains unchanged, James Botham is drafted into the starting side at blindside with Taine Plumtree coming at number eight. Mackenzie Martin takes Botham's place on the bench.

"We've been going through our processes, building on what worked well and sharpening the areas that need improvement," said Gatland.

"We expect Australia to go up another level this weekend and we know we need to as well.

"We want to start well and make sure we are disciplined and accurate from the off. Then it's about keeping in the arm-wrestle for the duration."
