Wales lock Cory Hill has been ruled out of the remainder of the Six Nations 2019 tournament after suffering an ankle injury.

The 27-year-old sustained the blow during the third round clash against England in Cardiff where he featured for 70 minutes and even scored a vital try to help Wales register a 21-13 victory.

As a result, the Dragons forward will miss the final two games against Scotland and Ireland on 9th and 16th March respectively.

Hill has played 24 Tests for Wales since his debut in 2016 and was an integral part of Warren Gatland's side that are on a 12-game winning streak including victories in all the three games in the ongoing Six Nations tournament.

Wales currently hold the top position in the table with 12 points from three games and are closely followed by England and Ireland with 10 and nine points respectively.
