Ospreys have announced that Wales hooker Scott Baldwin will rejoin the province with immediate effect.

Baldwin made his senior professional rugby debut with Ospreys in 2009 and went on to rack up 165 appearances for the Welsh regional side since then.

The 33-year-old made a switch to Harlequins in 2019 and even went on to enjoy a Premiership title victory with the club last season before joining Worcester in 2021.

Having released from the Warriors contract in February, Baldwin, who has also been capped 34 times for Wales between 2013 and 2017 has returned for a second stint at Liberty Stadium.

“I am very grateful to the Ospreys for stepping in and offering me the chance to resume my career in Wales. The Ospreys is my home region and I have always been an Ospreys supporter," he told the club's official website.

“It is where I established myself and I still have good friends at the Ospreys. Having worked with Toby before, I know what he expects and look forward to playing my role within the team and to develop the younger players.

“But my mindset is to be the number one hooker at the Ospreys. I know no other way and everyone can see the changes at the region and how things have really started to move forward.”

Ospreys are positioned sixth in the United Rugby Championship table with six wins from 10 games.
