Leicester Tigers have confirmed that hooker Tom Cowan-Dickie has signed a contract extension with the Gallagher Premiership club.

The 30-year-old joined the club in September from Championship side Cornish Pirates and has now extended his stay for the remainder of the 2021/22 season.

A product of Exeter Academy, Cowan-Dickie had loan stints with Redruth, Cornish Pirates and Plymouth Albion before joining the Plymouth based club permanently in 2014.

He has made five appearances since his debut for the Tigers in the opening round of the Gallagher Premiership.

Leicester Tigers are positioned at the top of the Gallagher Premiership table with nine wins from as many games while they kick-started their Heineken Champions Cup campaign with a 16-13 win over Bordeaux Begles.
