Agen 21-40 Pau, Stade Armandie
Scorecard

Pau ran a six-try riot as they registered their third win of the season after beating Agen 21-40 in their European Rugby Challenge Cup encounter at Stade Armandie on Friday.

Pau got off to a terrific start as they racked up three tries in the first 16 minutes with Adrien Plante (1'), Malik Hamadache (8') and Giovanni Kueffner (16') crossing over while Thibault Daubagna slotted the conversions on all the three occasions to take the score to 21-0.

Their momentum was jolted when Daubagna was sin-binned in the 19th minute and Valentin Saurs capitalised on the opportunity to score the opening try for Agen.

The visitors were once again reduced to 14 men following a yellow card to Fabrice Metz in the 38th minute and this time number eight Akapusi Qera crossed over for the home side as they went into the second half with a 14-21 scoreline.

Plante's second try after the restart extended Pau's lead but his efforts were negated by a second from Qera that came following another sin-bin for Agen, this time Sean Dougall with the infringement.

By the end of the 50th minute, the score was 21-33 in favour of the visitors and further tries from Jeremy Hurou (51') and Dougall (68') helped Pau complete a 19 point victory.
