Scorecard

Agen came up with a seven try performance as they kick started their European Challenge Cup encounter with a 45-10 bonus point victory at Stade Armandie on Friday.

It took Agen just six minutes to get their first points on the board as Paula Ngauamo crossed over while fly-half Mathieu Lamoulie slotted a conversion and a penalty by the end of the first quarter.

A sin-bin to Zebre's Guglielmo Palazzani saw Antoine Miquel going past the line as Agen ended the first half with an 18-3 lead.

Zebre continued to pay for their infringements when Johan Meyer was sent-off temporarily at the start of the second half and Agen capitalised on the advantage to score back to back tries through Johann Sadie and Pierre Fouyssac that helped them attain the bonus point.

Even though Zebre made a brief comeback when Jacopo Sarto strolled past the post, Agen capped off the game with three more crossovers that came through Lamoulie (61' and 73') and Alban Conduche (75') as they sealed off a 35 point victory.

The win has taken Agen to the top of Pool 3 while Zebre languish at the bottom.
