Crusaders head coach Scott Robertson and La Rochelle boss Ronan O'Gara will be guiding Barbarians when they face an All Blacks XV in the Killik Cup clash on 13th November.
Robertson had phenomenal success with Crusaders having joined them in 2017 and since then has led them to four Super Rugby titles and two Super Rugby Aotearoa titles.
Meanwhile, O'Gara guided La Rochelle to their maiden Heineken Champions Cup title earlier in the year when they defeated Leinster in the final.
Both Robertson and O'Gara have worked with each other previously with Crusaders in 2018 and 2019 seasons.
“Rugby throws you great opportunities and coaching the Baabaas has to be one of the best there is. I am proud to help the incredible Club and add to its history," said Robertson.
O'Gara is looking forward to the opportunity to work with Robertson and be a part of the coaching panel of the invitational side against the All Blacks XV.
“I am honoured to be coaching the Barbarians this Autumn as we take on the All Blacks XV.
“It will be a dynamite coaching team and I’m very much looking forward to reuniting with Ray after my time with him at Crusaders. It is always great to join forces with world-class coaches like him and to do so for this world-famous club will be an unforgettable experience.
“We’re going to put our heads together in the coming months and devise a squad of exciting talent who will light up the pitch at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and bring the Barbarians’ style of play to life against the All Blacks XV.”
