The Barbarians Women’s team will face Wales after the men’s fixture on the same day, with the women’s match scheduled for a 5pm kick-off following the men’s game at 2pm.
The occasion is being billed as a major celebration of the club’s spirit and tradition, with both Barbarians teams taking the field in a landmark day of rugby.

Hunter adds further stature to the coaching setup. One of the most decorated players in women’s rugby, the former England captain remains a hugely respected figure in the game. Since retiring from international rugby, she has moved into coaching and mentoring, bringing experience in leadership, elite performance and team culture.
Her appointment also gives the Barbarians a strong link between the club’s heritage and the modern women’s game.

The match continues the growth of Barbarians Women’s rugby since the first women’s fixture in 2017.
Appleby said coaching the Barbarians was an honour, while Hunter described the opportunity as incredibly special.
“I grew up watching the Baa-Baas. The black and white jersey is iconic and steeped in so much rugby history. It is an honour to be asked to coach the Barbarians alongside legend and friend, Sarah Hunter," said Appleby.
"I love free-flowing rugby so to be invited to work with world class players from around the globe and to be given free rein to encourage them to just play is a dream come true. I cannot wait.”
“I’m incredibly proud to be asked to join the Barbarians coaching team for this fixture. It’s a real honour to work alongside Susie Appleby and be part of a team with such a rich history and legacy in the game," said Hunter.
