Saracens have announced that prop Alec Clarey has signed a contract extension with the Gallagher Premiership club.
The 30-year-old made his professional rugby debut with Bristol in 2016 and had a brief stint with Jersey Reds before joining Saracens in 2020. He will now remain with Saracens until 2026.
“This club has had such a big impact on my career and I feel incredibly grateful to be staying for another two years," he told the club's official website.
I believe this group can achieve special things and I can’t wait to be part of it.”
Clarey has overall made 66 appearances for Saracens including 13 this season.
“We are delighted Alec has extended his stay at the club. He has had to fight hard in his career for everything he has achieved and he is highly respected by everyone at the training ground," said director of rugby Mark McCall.
Alec has the drive and ambition to take his game forward and we will support him in every way we can.”
Saracens are positioned third in the Gallagher Premiership table with eight wins from 14 matches.
