Saracens have confirmed that forward Jackson Wray has suffered a fractured skull during the recently concluded Gallagher Premiership game against Northampton Saints.

Wray came off the bench after the break replacing Billy Vunipola and played the entire second half.

A product of Saracens, Wray, who has made more than 250 appearances for the club will see a consult to assess the extent of damage.

Meanwhile, the club also confirmed that England skipper Owen Farrell is set to return from an ankle surgery in mid to late January while Duncan Taylor is sidelined until March due to a surgery on his shoulder.

Alec Clarey, Aled Davies, Marco Riccioni and Ralph Adams-Hale are also on the sidelines recovering from their respective injuries.

Saracens are positioned second in the Gallagher Premiership with eight wins from 11 games.
