Sale sign South Africa centre Van Rensburg

Sale Sharks have signed centre Rohan Janse van Rensburg from Super Rugby side Lions following a successful loan spell at the club last year.

The centre scored on three occasions in eight games for the Sharks after moving to the AJ Bell Stadium on a short-term basis.

The South African has only made one appearance for the Springboks and that came two years ago against Wales, but Sale’s director of rugby Steve Diamond is delighted with the capture of the 23-year-old.
