Semesa Rokoduguni and Taulupe Faletau scored two tries each as Bath Rugby completed a 34-20 win against Brive to reach their second European Challenge Cup semi-final in the last four years.

With England international George Ford rested for the encounter, Rhys Priestland kicked the proceedings for Bath with a ninth minute penalty.

However, the leading point scorer in the ongoing Top 14 season, Gaetan Germain replied back with two penalties in a span of six minutes for Brive.

Bath took control of the game when Faletau, Rokoduguni and Tom Homer scored a try each in the second quarter while Priestland added two points as they ended the first half with 20-6 lead.

Faletau extended Bath's advantage in the second half when he strolled past the post but Brive made a brief comeback with back to back tries from number eight Fabien Sanconnie.

Bath had a seven point lead heading into the final 10 minutes and Rokoduguni gave the knock out punch for Brive with his 75th touchdown and Priestland's conversion sealed a 14 point victory for the home side.

Bath will now face the winner of Ospreys and Stade Francais in the semi-final of the European Challenge Cup.
