Eto Nabuli, Karmichael Hunt and Izaia Perese scored two tries each as Reds managed to finally end their losing streak with a 47-34 triumph in their Super Rugby encounter against Kings at Suncorp Stadium on Saturday.

Nabuli and Hunt crossed over in the fifth and 28th minute while a double conversion from Quade Cooper took Reds to 14 points at half time which also saw the hosts losing Duncan Paia'Aua temporarily in the 37th minute.

Chris Cloete replied back with a try for Kings while a conversion from Lionel Cronje followed by a penalty brought down the gap to four points at the end of the first half.

George Smith and Nabuli further upped the ante with a try each at the start of the second half which increased their lead 16 points. Louis Schreuder replied back with a try of his own to reduce the trail to nine points but the home side went on a rampage with Hunt scoring his second try followed by two more touchdowns from Perese.

Despite a late fight back from Makazole Mapimpi and Masixole Banda, who scored three tries between them in the final quarter, Kings succumbed to a 13 point defeat.
