Pau 26-12 Agen, Stade du Hameau
Scorecard

Pau maintained their unbeaten streak in the ongoing European Rugby Challenge Cup with a 26-12 bonus point victory over Agen at Stade du Hameau on Thursday.

This was also Agen's second win over Pau in successive rounds after beating them 21-40 at Stade Armandie last week. As a result they now have 19 points from four games while Agen are positioned third with five points.

Agen suffered a setback early in the game when Denis Marchois was sin-binned in the 10th minute that saw hooker Lucas Rey crossover and a conversion from Brandon Fajardo made it 7-0. The home side soon doubled the lead with Benson Stanley going past the line in the 29th minute and the fly-half slotted the extras.

A sin-bin to Pau flanker Paddy Butler at the stroke of half-time allowed Agen into the game with replacement Yoan Tanga scoring the visitors' first try at the start of the second half to reduce the deficit to nine points.

As the game was heading for the final 10 minutes, Pau extended their lead with man of the match Sean Dougall scoring the third try that was improved by Clovis Lebail.

Even though Tanga's second try in the 77th minute tried to provide some hope to Agen, Laurent Bouchet with his final try in the 80th minute helped Pau completed a bonus point victory.
