Ospreys 46 - 24 Cardiff

Ospreys ran seven tries against the Blues to secure a 46-24 win at the Liberty Stadium during the 2016-17 Pro12 clash on Friday.

Left-wing Eli Walker(27, 31) scored a double, while lock Alun Wyn Jones(22), tighthead prop Dimitri Arhip(39), outside-centre Ben John(41), fullback Dan Evans(46) and inside-centre Josh Matavesi(65) scored a try each.

Sam Davies, who pipped Dan Biggar for the starting number 10 jersey, managed to convert three out of six tries along with a penalty, while Biggar converted the final try.

In response, the Blues ran three tries. Hooker Kristian Dacey(16), left-wing Tom James(62) and inside-centre Reynold Lee-Lo(75) crossed over the try line for the visitors.

Fly-half Gareth Anscombe managed to convert all three tries in addition to scoring a penalty.

However, the Blues' response fell reasonably well short by 22 points as they succumbed to their second defeat of the season.

The Ospreys will now face the Dragons at the Liberty Stadium, while the Blues will clash with the Scarlets at the BT Cardiff Arms Park next weekend.
