Ulster 29 - 8 Dragons, Belfast

Robert Lyttle scored a double whereas Ruan Pienaar's try and a couple of conversions helped Ulster defeat the Dragons by 29 - 8 during the Pro12 encounter at Belfast on Friday.

The visitors trailed by only four points by the end of the first-half, however, Rob Herring and his men scored three impressive tries in the second half to earn a bonus point, while the Dragons failed to make any further addition to their points tally.

Lyttle (21, 65), Jacob Stockdale (26), Pienaar (43) and Herring (71) crossed over the try line for Ulster.

Wing Pat Howard (11) was the solitary try scorer for the visitors, while fly-half Nick Macleod scored the only penalty of the match in the fifth minute of the game.

Pienaar, who would be leaving Belfast at the end of the season, was awarded the man of the match award for his remarkable performance.
