Leinster 30 - 18 Ulster, Dublin

Leinster are on course for their fifth Pro12 title win after they stormed into the final defeating Ulster 30-18 in the semi-final in Dublin on Friday.

The Dublin-based team carried their momentum from the group stage and looked dominant, especially in the second half where they scored 17 points.

This is Leinster's ninth appearance in the final of Pro12 and now they await the winner of the play-off between Glasgow Warriors and Connacht.

Leinster built the pressure early on with Isa Nacewa scoring the first try of the game in the fourth minute while fly-half Johnny Sexton looked in great nick adding eight points in the next 11 minutes to take a lead of 13-0.

However, Ulster's hope of becoming the first away team to win a semi-final brightened up with Craig Gilroy managing a try two minutes before the half-time after a double penalty by Paddy Jackson. At the end of the first half, Leinster managed a slender lead with scoreline reading 13 - 11.

Leinster upped the ante in the second half with Jamie Heaslip and replacement Sean Cronin contributing with two more tries and Sexton's double conversion and penalty ensured the game was away from Ulster's reach despite the second try scored by Gilroy in the 69th minute.

Sexton contributed 15 points out of the 30 scored by Leinster as they now set their sights on third championship victory in four seasons.
