London Irish have bolstered their front row options ahead of their Premiership return after securing the signing of prop Will Goodrick-Clarke from Championship side Richmond.

A product of the Gloucester Academy, the 23-year-old has been with Richmond for the last two seasons and was named in the dream team of the Championship in the 2018/19 season.

“I am excited to be signing for London Irish and looking forward to joining up for pre-season in June.” Goodrick-Clarke explained," he told the club's official website.

“Having played against London Irish this season, I know their current front rowers are great players, so I look forward to working with them next season.”

Meanwhile, the Exiles have also confirmed that back-row Conor Gilsenan and prop Lovejoy Chawatama have signed new deals with the club.

Gilsenan joined London Irish in 2014 after having stints with Leinster and Connacht and has racked up 66 appearances for the club while Chawatama made a mark in the 2017/18 season and has gone on to play 26 times for the club.
