London Irish have further strengthened their coaching panel ahead of the 2019/20 season with the inclusion of Brad Davis.

The 51-year-old will complete a five-person coaching team of the Exiles along with Director of Rugby Declan Kidney, George Skivington, Les Kiss and Declan Danaher as they look to make a mark on their return to the Premiership.

Davis has already worked as defence and skills coach of Bath and defence coach of Wasps apart from having coaching experiences with Rugby League sides Villeneuve Leopards and Castleford Tigers.

“I am really excited at the opportunity to join London Irish. The club is steeped in history and is on an exciting journey as it moves into the Premiership next season,” said Davis.

“Having spoken at length with the club, I am excited about the vision and look forward to working in London Irish’s coaching team.”

Meanwhile, club director of rugby Kidney is confident that Davis' experience will benefit the club in the new season.

“He has a wealth of coaching experience working with some very good sides and has experience of playing in Europe.

“Brad will add a vast amount of knowledge to our coaching set-up and will complement the already great work our current coaches do. I know that Les (Kiss), George (Skivington) and Dec (Danaher) are really looking forward to having him on board.”
