Bath Rugby have confirmed the signing of Joe Cokanasiga from English Premiership rivals London Irish ahead of the 2018/19 season.

The Fiji born winger made his professional rugby debut with London Irish in 2016 and after representing them in the sevens format and in RFU Championship, he made his Premiership debut in 2017 and gone on to play 15 times in the top tier in which he scored four tries.

He has now signed a three-year deal with Bath Rugby following the Exiles' relegation back to RFU Championship after managing just three wins from 22 games in the 2017/18 season of Aviva Premiership.

"The environment at Bath is exactly what I need to develop and achieve my international ambitions," he said.

Cokanasiga has represented England Under20 side during the 2017 Six Nations Under 20 Championship and his form this season saw him find a place in England's training squad ahead of the clash against Barbarians.
