Ireland fly-half Jack Crowley says he is focused on team performance rather than proving personal points as the debate over the national team’s number 10 position continues during the Six Nations.

Jack Crowley Ireland Fly-Half Performance

Crowley delivered a strong display in Ireland’s recent Six Nations victory over England in Twickenham, helping guide the team to a record 42–21 win. The result revitalised Ireland’s campaign after an opening defeat earlier in the championship.

Despite ongoing discussion around the fly-half role, Crowley emphasised that his focus remains on contributing to team success rather than responding to external debates.

"In France, we felt like it was quite disappointing. Just the travel and support we get is incredible as a team, and we always want to give back to that.

"People who make sacrifices to travel and support us, we want to be able to give back to them. And unfortunately, in France, we didn’t feel like we did that, but we knew there was going to be a big travelling sport over to London with the Irish contingent.

"So, that was the feeling walking around, you know, something to be proud of."

Ireland now turn their attention to the upcoming fixture against Wales, which presents an opportunity to continue their momentum in the championship. A victory would move the team closer to securing the Triple Crown and strengthening their position in the tournament standings.

"I feel like it’s not really about proving my points, or for anybody proving their point. It’s more about just always continuing to find your best and how you can do that week to week, how you can do that from day to day, training.

"Then it’s about where you can add to the team so that you have 15 individuals out there that are bringing their best. And when you do that, you get performances that come together, like England."
