Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt has named Jack Carty at fly-half for the upcoming World Cup warm-up game against Wales at Millennium Stadium this weekend.
Carty will replace Ross Byrne and will form half-back partnership with Kieran Marmion, who comes in the place of Conor Murray. Peter O'Mahony will continue to captain the side and will form a back-row partnership with Jack Conan and Tadhg Beirne.
Will Addison has been slotted at fullback while Jacob Stockdale is retained at left wing with Andrew Conway coming at right. Bundee Aki will be joined by Chris Farrell in a new centre partnership. The second row comprise of James Ryan and Iain Henderson and Niall Scannell is named at hooker.
There is also a change in props with Schmidt opting to look for Dave Kilcoyne and John Ryan as they look to gain some momentum following 57-15 defeat against England at Twickenham Stadium.
