Northampton Saints have announced that exciting young back-rower Henry Pollock has signed a long-term contract, committing his future to the club.
The highly-rated 19-year-old flanker, who has been part of the Saints’ Senior Academy, is widely regarded as one of the most promising young talents in English rugby.
Pollock’s consistent performances at age-grade levels and his contributions in the Premiership Rugby Cup have showcased his potential as a future first-team regular.
A product of the club’s Academy system, Pollock came through the pathway while playing school rugby at Stowe School and club rugby with Banbury RFC.
His standout performances for England Under-20s, including during the 2023 Six Nations, underlined his ability on the international stage, where he displayed dynamic ball-carrying skills, a tireless work rate, and strong defensive capabilities.
Northampton Saints Director of Rugby Phil Dowson expressed his excitement about Pollock’s decision to stay at Franklin’s Gardens.
“Henry is an incredibly talented young player who has all the attributes to become a key part of our squad in the coming years. He works hard, plays with great intensity, and has shown fantastic progress through our Academy.
