Brumbies will miss the services of fly-half Noah Lolesio for up to eight weeks following a hamstring injury.

Lolesio suffered the injury during the recently concluded Super Rugby AU game against Brumbies where he left the field after the half-hour mark.

Brumbies head coach Dan McKeller expressed disappointment on the news and wished Lolesio good luck on a speedy recovery.

“We are really disappointed for Noah, he had a good start to the year and was really enjoying his footy,” he told the club’s website.

“We have got a very good medical team here who will make sure Noah gets the best possible treatment and rehabilitation to ensure he gets back out on the field as soon as possible.

“Whilst we are all disappointed for Noah we’ve got full confidence in Bayley Kuenzle and Reesjan Pasitoa to step in and fill that role.”

Brumbies currently are at second place in the table with wins in both their opening games and will face Western Force next on 25th July at Leichhardt Oval.
