Glasgow Warriors prop Charlie Capps to join Leicester Tigers on loan

Leicester Tigers have confirmed the signing of prop Charlie Capps from Glasgow Warriors on a short-term loan deal.

Capps started his professional rugby with Yorkshire Carnegie in 2015 and went on to play for French rugby's third tier side Stade Nicois before making his debut for Glasgow Warriors in September last year against Ulster.

Meanwhile, Glasgow Warriors have signed Leicester prop Gaston Cortes.

The 34-year-old played for Bristol for six years before switching to Welford Road ahead of the 2018/19 season and has played for Argentina in five Tests between 2011 and 2018.

Leicester Tigers are positioned ninth in the Gallagher Premiership with two wins from nine games and will lock horns with Wasps at Welford Road on 15th February.
