Glasgow ended their Pro 12 Italian road trip with a bonus-point 43-14 victory against Zebre.

The Warriors, who had remained in the country all week after last Saturday's bonus-point win against Benetton Treviso, moved up to third - within two points of the top two - after fighting back from 14-7 down at the break in Parma.

Leonardo Sarto, who will join Glasgow next season, went over in the corner after just four minutes for the hosts.

Glasgow levelled in the 17th minute through Fraser Brown's try, converted by Duncan Weir, but parity lasted for only five minutes before Guglielmo Palazzani went under the posts and Carlo Canna added the extras for the second time.

But the Warriors blew their lowly opponents away in the second half. Ali Price's individual effort under the posts allowed Weir to level the game in the 46th minute, and shortly afterwards Alex Dunbar burst through from the 22 to give Glasgow a lead they would never relinquish.

Peter Horne secured the bonus point with a 57th-minute try and Weir's kick completed a 21-point swing in just 11 minutes.

Gregor Townsend's men added three more tries in a clinical seven minutes; Taqele Naiyaravoro and Jerry Yanuyanutawa both crossed the whitewash before Horne's second, but replacement Finn Russell missed all three conversions.
