Scorecard

France ran a five-try riot as they trounced Scotland 32-3 in their encounter at Allianz Riviera on Saturday.

There were no respite for the Dark Blues as France kick started the proceedings with a second minute try and Camille Lopez followed with the conversion to make it 7-0.

Lopez kicked another penalty goal in the 15th minute to increase their lead to 10-0 and it soon became 15-0 when Maxime Medard touched down in the 22nd minute.

Scotland finally managed to open their account with a 26th minute penalty goal from Adam Hastings but unfortunately for Gregor Townsend's men they could not manage any more points in the remainder of the game.

Things turned from bad to worse for Scotland when Hastings was sin-binned in the 33rd minute and Gregory Alldritt immediately capitalised on the advantage with France's third try of the game as they went into the break with a 20-3 scoreline.

The home side were quick to get off the block quick in the second half with Medard's second try in the 54th minute and Antoine Dupont capped off a fabulous game when he went over the line in the 61st minute to complete a convincing 32-3 win.

The two teams will once again meet at Murrayfield Stadium on 24th August.
