Toulouse have announced the signing of France fullback Melvyn Jaminet ahead of the 2022/23 season.
He will now compete with his international team-mate Thomas Ramos and Italy's Ange Capuozzo for the No.15 jersey.
The 22-year-old started his career with Perpignan in 2019 and still had a year left on his contract but has decided to make a switch to Toulouse after signing a deal until 2025.
Jaminet, who helped Perpignan to a Pro D2 title last season during which he was also named the the league’s Player of the Season has been capped 11 times at the international level for the Les Bleus.
“I am very happy to sign at Stade Toulousain: it is a club whose playing philosophy suits me and which has ambitions for titles,” he said.
“This is what I am looking for for the rest of my career.”
Toulouse President Didier Lacroix is delighted with the inclusion of Jaminet in the squad for the next season.
