“It’s great to be back in Super Rugby and to be joining an awesome club like the Brumbies," he told the club's official website.

“Working with Steve is obviously an amazing opportunity and I’m looking forward to seeing how I can learn from and contribute to the team with guys like Noah, Nic White there as well.

“The group there have been playing some great rugby and it’s a place that is known for getting the best out of guys so I’m excited to get started. “

Brumbies head coach Stephen Larkham is delighted in acquiring the service of Debreczeni ahead of the new season.

“It’s fantastic for us to be able to bring in a player of Jack’s experience.”

“Jack’s been a professional for a long time, knows what’s required at this level and he’s keen to continue to develop and soak up everything the Brumbies have to offer.

“Depth is critical in the modern game and Jack will be a great addition to the group.”
