Northampton Saints fly-half Fin Smith has been voted Gallagher Player of the Month for April after a run of match-winning displays helped drive Saints to two important victories.
Smith secured 44 percent of the vote, finishing ahead of Leicester Tigers’ Gabriel Hamer-Webb, Saracens’ Noah Caluori and Bristol Bears’ Kalaveti Ravouvou.

Smith scored 31 points across the two rounds in April and played a decisive role in keeping Northampton on top of the table. His impact was especially clear in the dramatic win over Exeter Chiefs at Sandy Park, where he scored the winning try with just seconds left to seal a valuable bonus-point victory.
Fin Smith Shines Against Bath Rugby
The England fly-half followed that with another standout display against Bath Rugby in a high-quality top-of-the-table clash at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens. Smith crossed for the opening try and then held his nerve to land the late penalty that secured a 41-38 victory for Northampton.
Gallagher Player Of The Month Winners This Season
Smith becomes the latest player to pick up the monthly honour in the 2025/26 Gallagher Premiership season.
Earlier winners included Northampton’s Edoardo Todaro in October, Bristol Bears prop Ellis Genge in December, Leicester Tigers fly-half Billy Searle in January and Leicester winger Will Wand in March.
The shortlist for April was selected by a panel of media professionals, with supporters then deciding the final winner through the public vote.
