Northampton Saints have confirmed that tighthead prop Trevor Davison has signed a new multi-year contract to remain at cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens.

Davison joined Northampton in March 2023 and has since become a regular member of the front row, making 64 appearances for the club. The 33-year-old England international is one of several players to commit his future to the Prem side during the current season.
The prop said he feels settled at the club and credited the coaching environment and squad standards for helping him improve his performances.
“Ever since I arrived in Northampton, I have felt really settled here and I am loving playing for Saints,” said Davison. “It’s a great group to be part of, and the backing we get every week from our supporters means a lot to us, so staying on was an easy decision for me.
“Being here has really helped me improve as a player. The coaches have pushed me, the standards in training are high, the group is really connected, and the lads around you make you better just by how they work".
Career Path And England Recognition
Born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Davison developed through Blaydon RFC before moving to Newcastle Falcons in 2017, where he made over 100 appearances. His form earned an England debut in 2021 and he has since gained four international caps.
Since joining Northampton, Davison played a role in their PREM -winning campaign and featured in the Investec Champions Cup final. He has also returned to the England setup, adding another cap during the current Six Nations.
