Exeter Chiefs duo Tom Hendrickson and Jannes Kirsten has been handed three week suspensions following the recently concluded Gallagher Premiership game against Worcester Warriors last weekend.

Hendrickson received a red card for a dangerous tackle on Worcester number eight Sione Vailanu and was found guilty of breaching World Rugby Law 9.13.

Meanwhile, Kirsten was cited after the game for dangerous play in a ruck after hitting an opponent's head with his shoulder but escaped any sanction during the game.

Both the players have been handed a three-game ban that includes Premiership Cup fixture against Worcester on 19th March along with Gallagher Premiership matches against Leicester Tigers and Bath Rugby. Nevertheless, the players could be available for the encounter against Bath if they successfully complete Coaching Intervention Process.

The Chiefs went on to lose the game against Worcester with a 35-31 margin as they are now positioned fourth in the Gallagher Premiership table with 11 victories from 19 games.
