England and Ireland have made progress in the latest World Rugby Rankings following their victories in the latest round of Six Nations.

England's 23-20 win over France at Twickenham Stadium following tries from Anthony Watson and Maro Itoje saw them reclaim the third position with the Les Bleus moving down to fourth place.

Meanwhile, Ireland's thrilling 27-24 victory over Scotland at Murrayfield Stadium saw them climb one place to sixth place pushing Australia down to seventh. Meanwhile, the Dark Blues have slipped one place to ninth spot.

Wales' fourth successive win in the ongoing Six Nations with the latest being a 48-7 victory over Italy has seen them retain the fifth place while Azzurri, who are yet to win a game in the competition since 2015 continue to remain at 15th.

The final round of the Six Nations will see Scotland facing Italy while Ireland and France will host England and Wales respectively.
