England captain Dylan Hartley has claimed that his team is 'hungry' to win the second Test in Melbourne and rewrite the history books by wrapping up their first ever series win against Australia on Saturday.

Coach Eddie Jones' men had put up a determined performance against the Wallabies during their 28-39 triumph in Brisbane on last Saturday, and Hartley has announced his side's intentions for the AAMI Park encounter.

"We go again - that's the message.

"I keep going on about it but we're so hungry to improve as a team, we're hungry to win this series and hungry to make history."

The 30-year-old, who represents Northampton Saints in the English Premiership rugby, is confident about his team's preparations ahead of the crucial Test.

"We've left no stone unturned this week. We're desperate to win this week,” said Hartley. “The focus has been on ourselves this week to train hard and get the fundamentals right, not be complacent and go to another level again.

The second Test kicks off on Saturday 18th of June in Melbourne with England leading the series 1-0.
