Toulouse have confirmed the signing of England flanker Jack Willis with immediate effect.

Willis a product of Wasps Academy was one of 167 players and staff, whose contract was made redundant since the Coventry based club entered into administration last month.

His senior debut with the club came in the Anglo Welsh Cup in November 2016 and soon went on to make his Premiership debut for Wasps against the same opponents.

He made his England debut in 2020 but having not played for Wasps since 9th October, he was released from the squad by head coach Eddie Jones for the upcoming autumn international game against South Africa. He also had represented England Under 20 side in the past.

“We are very happy to welcome a player like Jack Willis to our squad. We know his qualities as a rugby player and appreciate that he shows us his confidence. The whole club welcomes him to Toulouse!” said Didier Lacroix, President of the Stade Toulousain.
