Elliot Daly has signed a new contract with Saracens, extending his stay in North London until at least the end of the 2027-28 season.
The England and British & Irish Lions international remains one of the club’s most experienced backs, with the new deal securing another senior figure in the Saracens squad.
Elliot Daly Extends Saracens Contract
Daly joined Saracens from Wasps in 2019 and has gone on to become a key part of the club’s backline across multiple seasons.
Able to operate at full-back, centre or wing, he has provided versatility and experience in domestic and European competition. He was also part of the Saracens side that won the PREM title in 2023, scoring an important try in the final against Sale Sharks.
England And Lions Back Stays In North London
On the international stage, Daly has remained a major figure for England since making his debut in 2016.
He has earned more than 70 caps and has represented his country at multiple Rugby World Cups and Six Nations campaigns.
He has also been selected for three British & Irish Lions tours, playing all three Tests in New Zealand in 2017, appearing in two Tests in South Africa in 2021 and travelling again in 2025 before injury ended that tour early.
“Saracens is a club that I love and being surrounded by such a driven group every day is incredibly enjoyable.
"I believe this squad has the ability to grow, and I am very excited to be a part of it.”
Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall see Daly’s extension as an important move for a squad that blends established internationals with emerging talent.
“Having played nearly 400 games for Saracens, Wasps, England and the British & Irish Lions, Elliot has enjoyed a remarkable career.
"His talent and skill are there for everyone to see, but his longevity and consistency stem from his love of the game and his competitive spirit.
"We are thrilled he is staying and believe our exciting young group of outside backs will benefit enormously from his experience and rugby IQ.”
